Cowford Conservation

Preserving Florida’s Outdoor Heritage

About Project

Challenge:

If you’ve lived in Florida for a while, you may have noticed how quickly the natural environment is changing. New homes and ever-growing suburbs are wreaking havoc on the water and marshland areas. Cowford Conservation (“Cowford” is an old name for the city of Jacksonville, Florida) is making extensive efforts to preserve the natural flavor of old Florida, and they are doing it locally. They came to C7 to help spread the word and promote their noble cause.

Solution:

We approached this project with our proven process of interviewing the client and identifying their wants, needs, and target audience. We then researched different concepts and branded looks that fit the mission of Cowford Conservation and its partners. The partners shared the branding elements of the flowing water and marsh to be used in the logo as they directed
Next, we built the website to have a local vibe and feature the photos and written content of the organization. The images were great, so they set the stage for the site and gave it the needed personality. We wanted the website to compliment the content, not compete with it. The project was a success and old Florida is one step closer to preserving it’s old charm and outdoor wonder.

“We are thrilled with our new website and all that means to helping us achieve our mission of preserving old Florida’s outdoor heritage.”
